    • Provide strategic oversight of all company accreditations and certifications, including PAS 2030, MCS, ISO 9001/14001, TrustMark, and other statutory or voluntary schemes.
    • Own and manage the company’s central QMS, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and provides a consistent framework for quality and compliance across all operations.
    • Act as the company’s subject matter expert in ISO, PAS 2030 and MCS, supporting readiness for audit, installer compliance, and scheme requirements.
    • Lead the annual programme of internal audits, surveillance visits and external inspections, ensuring all functions and regions are prepared and supported, and that findings are resolved through structured action plans.
    • Work in partnership with the PAS Compliance Team (Nottingham), providing oversight, support, and strategic direction while they manage day-to-day compliance, lodgements, and documentation.
    • Develop and maintain a compliance framework that covers both reactive and planned works across all business areas, including heating, insulation, and renewable energy measures.
    • Liaise with scheme owners, certification bodies, auditors, and external stakeholders to maintain good standing across all regulatory frameworks and accreditations.
    • Ensure that installation methods, training programs, and supply chain controls meet the expectations of ISO, PAS 2030, MCS, and funding bodies.
    • Review, develop, and implement company policies and procedures to ensure they remain compliant with current legislation, accreditation criteria, and best practice.
    • Establish and manage document control systems to ensure that all QMS documentation is accurately maintained, updated, and readily accessible.
    • Chair internal Quality and Compliance working groups, and contribute to senior leadership discussions on risk, performance, and strategy.
    • Act as the business lead for compliance with ISO standards, ensuring continuous improvement, alignment with business goals, and preparedness for re-certification or transition audits.
    • Ensure a strong internal culture of quality assurance and accountability, with embedded processes for escalation, review, and learning.
    • Lead the organisation’s environmental compliance and improvement agenda, including oversight of annual GHG emissions reporting, supporting SECR compliance, and maintaining alignment with ISO 14001.
    • Drive the company’s Net Zero strategy, working across departments to develop realistic action plans, monitor progress, and ensure sustainability is embedded into operational and strategic decision-making.
    • Support the ongoing development of data protection practices as Data Protection Officer (DPO), ensuring GDPR compliance in collaboration with internal departments.
    • Lead a team of compliance professionals, providing coaching and development, and working across functions to embed quality values in delivery teams.
    Skills/Qualifications
    • Proven experience of maintaining and managing company-level accreditations such as PAS 2030, MCS, ISO 9001 & 14001.
    • Strong understanding of the retrofit, construction, or energy efficiency sector, with experience working under TrustMark or similar schemes.
    • Internal or Lead Auditor qualification in ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and govern QMS across multi-site or multi-service businesses.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across departments and influencing senior leadership.
    • Ability to work strategically to drive improvement and ensure audit-readiness across business units.
    Experience Required
    • Substantial experience in quality, compliance or accreditation management, ideally within a similar industry.
    • Experience managing or coordinating PAS 2030 and MCS compliance programmes at a strategic level.
    • Demonstrated success in leading external audit preparation and supporting business functions through inspections or surveillance visits.
    • Familiarity with schemes and regulatory frameworks
    • Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams or compliance professionals.
    Personal Attributes
    • You pride yourself on truth and share knowledge for the greater good.
    • You are committed to improvement and are an active team participant.
    • You accept responsibility for your role and promote ownership in others.
